I added some raw Kale, an apple, and a banana into a blender with some ice cold water and came out with this delicious green smoothie. I finally decided to give kale a try and it really isn’t that bad. Kale has high concentration and a great source of antioxidant vitamin A, C, and K. All this talk about kale made me want to give it a try. Before putting it in my salad, I decided to try it in a smoothie, I knew by putting it in my smoothie I can make it as sweet and healthy as I want without really tasting the kale.
It came out so good and I know I will be making this over and over especially because it was so easy and I used ingredients that were already in my home.
I loved this recipe so much that I think I’m going to start making it as my breakfast before running out the door for work. It’s easy
-1 small Apple -peeled, cored
– 1 medium Banana (preferably frozen)
– 1 cup of fresh Kale – washed, stems removed
– 1 1/2 cups cold spring water
– ice cubes
Place all ingredients in a magic bullet or blender. Blend until smooth, taste, and adjust to your liking!
